Vector Ideas
So today Ms. K was not here. In class, we just finished up the Minilab that we recieved on Monday and worked on it today and yesterday. That Minilab is supposed to be handed in today but the sub let us hand it in tomorrow. Also, the sub gave us hand out a book on vectors. All you need to read is the first 2 pages and do the questions on page 3 and 4. See you all tomorrow.

Bonjour fellow physicians!!!
Today, Ms. Kozoriz is back!
We corrected the booklet (Appendix 3.8) that was given on Thursday.
The answers are uploaded.
Finally for the last twenty minutes of class, we started with another booklet, that was handed out yesterday by Ms Hall. We went through the first few questions. Please try to finish the booklet by tomorrow when we correct the whole thing.

One Dimension Motion
last thursday ms K went over the fill in the blanks 'study guide worksheet': 3.2. If you missed the class or didnt get the answer for any of the blanks, here they are:

Hey guys,
In today's class we read pages 12-16 and filled in the supporting and counter argument columns on the wave model of light hand-out. We then answered questions 9-12 in The Nature of Light: Part 2 booklet. The answers to these questions and the previous sheet have been uploaded to the blog. Next, we read the information on Young's experiment starting on page 17 to page 20. For the remainder of class we worked on questions 1&2 on the Young's Experiment Problems sheet given to us today. These questions are due tomorrow!
I think I might have screwed up the order in which we did things. I apologize! I have a terrible memory. However, I am positive that this was all we did. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
**Our test on this unit will be on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Today in physics we corrected our test from last unit and all the answers should be or are on the blog. Afterward, we were given a worksheet, which was a chart for evaluating the models of light. If you don't have the sheet yet, you should get it right away from Mrs. Kozoriz. So on the sheet we learned the meanings of:
rectilinear propagation: travel in straight lines
reflection: just look into a mirror
refraction: the bending of a particle entering a new medium
dispersion: light is refracted to form colours of the spectrum
diffraction: the bending of a wave around a barrier or through an opening
partial reflection/refraction
And speed of light .. again.
For each of these phenomenon we came up with supporting arguments and counter-arguments. All of this information should be on the blogger as well.
Lastly, we were given the Part 2 Wave and Particle Models of Light Problems booklet. We were assigned to do questions 1, 3 and 4. They shouldn't be that difficult .. i think. And that's pretty much it! :D

Nature of Light Part 2
Today in class we read pages 2 - 7 on our new booklet, called "Nature of Light: Part 2 The Wave and Particle Models of Light" Ms. K gave us a worksheet to work on, about the four theories of Light or something like that. Answers are below, this rather short post of mine.
The next scribe? I don't know, whoever didn't do it yet I guess.

hah! i finally did a blog! =P
OK! so, i finally remembered to do the blog, which is pretty amazing if you ask me =O
anywho, today we went over some questions. i dont know what sheet they were from cause i kinda wasnt paying attention because i was sooooo tired and cranky. But after those questions i paid attention to the graphs we worked on and the fact that we have a test tomorrow, Whooppy!
So for the test you gotta know the whole booklet on nature of light, or something like that. and understand how to find the slope of the graph and the formula used to express it.
I really dont know what else to write, im completely brain dead today due to the lack of sleep.
and i think Anna should scribe for tomorrow...i DO get to pick the next scribe right?
